Call for paper

On November 16 2017, a workshop for educators interested in teaching and pedagogy related to retailing is held at the Center for Retailing at the Stockholm School of Economics. The workshop is supported by the Swedish Retail and Wholesale Council and the Hakon Swenson Foundation.

The purpose of the workshop is to exchange ideas about academic retail education. We invite university teachers with an interest in retail education to participate in the workshop. The workshop will include keynote lecture(s) and presentations by participants that submit an extended abstract on some aspect regarding academic retail education, see below for more information on suggested topics.

Suggested topics and deadlines

To encourage discussion and exchange of ideas during the workshop, we invite you to send an extended abstract on an education-related topic. Suggested topics are course development, curriculum development, digitalization in teaching, pedagogy in the classroom, live cases, and evaluation of teaching practices and so forth. Of special interest are topics related to retail industry collaboration.

Please send an extended abstract (500-1000 words) by e-mail to: fredrik.lange@hhs.se no later than October 1, 2017. Acceptance of papers will be notified by October 5, 2017.
